I am a technical and business writer and communicator with more than 10 years' experience. I am most familiar with IT organizations, but am interested in a number of fields, including biological and medical writing. I enjoy working on many different types of projects, and I love a challenge! I am especially interested in bridging the communications gap between technical and non-technical people.

Education

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Technical Writing in 1998, and an M.A. in Professional Writing in 2000. I have formal training in meeting and focus group facilitation, and I hold an ITIL Foundation Level 1 certification.

Personal

I live in Pittsburgh, PA, with my husband and our pets. I play rugby for the Pittsburgh Angels and can often be found walking my dog or inventing new recipes.
